Today, May 18th, is International Museum day (IMD2012). Since 1977, museums across the planet have participated in this truly remarkable event in order to increase public awareness of the role of these institutions in our developing society.
The theme for this year is “Museums in a Changing World. New challenges, New inspirations,” and the celebration is experiencing its highest involvement with almost 30,000 museums organizing activities in over 100 different countries – from America to Oceania, including Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Here at LineLogic, like those organizing and participating in IMD2012, we are acutely aware of the ever-evolving world we live in. One glaring change taking place in the US is the increasing presence of Hispanic peoples living and working across the nation. For this reason, we have recently brought a new bilingual Account Executive onto our team, Benjamin Lankes, who is in the process of developing new international relationships and also increasing bilingual functionality on our website.
Currently Mr. Lankes is focusing a large portion of his energy on forging new relationships with several museums across the world. Our product line caters uniquely to this market, and a key objective of ours is simply to promote the fact that our products are capable of enhancing the art of physical craft, and also the art of museum line management. This is how we are celebrating International Museum Day – by letting you know that we can help your business by improving your customer experience through efficient line management, and also through protecting your displays.
To get in touch with Mr. Lankes about partnership opportunities or any other inquires, feel free to contact him through any of the avenues listed below, and please find your own unique way to celebrate International Museum Day, because no matter how the world may change, museums will forever be a wonderful resource for the citizens of every country.
