Backyard Goose Control

Although our industry isn’t typically classified as “exciting” or “humorous,” we do everything we can to have fun with it (see exhibit Aexhibit B). Sometimes we even get a little help from our customers.

Without mentioning a name or location, we wanted to share these pictures of a recent crowd control setup that we helped with.

Pool Shot Goose Control

If you look closely, you’ll see there are a number of dual-line stanchions blocking off a pool. For this setup, we provided a heavy duty outdoor dual-line post, similar to this Tensabarrier post.

So why this elaborate outdoor setup you might be wondering. Well, it’s to keep geese from defecating in the water. You heard that right – crap control. It appears that the system is alleviating the problem, too. With the steps filling the space between the ground and the first rope, this might be an effective goose control execution.

Goose Control Outside View

Here’s another view of the goose control, taken from the other side. It’s probably good for keeping pesky neighbors out too.

If you or your business is using crowd control in a unique, entertaining way, send us a picture and we’ll gladly share it with the world here on our blog.
